Jesus was NOT the Messiah. Issiah did not mention Jesus by name, as you try to lead people to believe.
G-d is One--not a trinity.
And, if you knew your Judaism, you would know that the Jewish Messiah will not be G-d, or of G-d. He will be a man---a mere man with the ability to fulfill the prophecy.

Son, don't get discouraged. I call you son, because I am an aged person, though not jewish, but it is not only the Jewish people who will not accept Jesus. I try to spread the gospel every day on here, get made fun of, laughed at and ridiculed, but I do not let it dent my faith one iota. Just hold on to your beliefs and you will get your reward. The bible (Christian) tells us one day that all Jews will believe, and I am sure God has a plan for this. Keep the faith.

I'm with "JT" on this one. He's totally correct or you're being disingenuous. On Jewish terms, there's a lot more to the prophesies than you're nickel version.
I'm neither Jewish nor Christian, but I've always thought it was a riot how everyone presumes to tell the Jews how to interpret THEIR texts. And the result? Hundreds of Christian sects and sect-lets; each one with its own take on it.

More than just Old Testament prophecies, davidisrael, Jesus fulfilled every prophecy, and proved his authority over and over and over again for anyone who cared to witness it. He healed the sick and lame, cured the blind, raised the dead back to life and was resurrected (Himself) from the grave. Hundreds of people saw Him after His resurrection, too. Hundreds saw Him ascend to heaven.
I can't help you with your relationship to your Jewish friends. I know that God would want you to call yourself Christian, and stand firm in your beliefs.
I'm sure some of your Jewish friends would respect your knowledge and confidence and faith, and perhaps want to know more about Christ from you. Don't you think so?

Let me help.
Judaism does NOT believe Jesus was the Christ.
Christians do.
Evangelical Christians try to convert others.
Therefore you are NOT Jewish you ARE an evangelical Christian.

im jewish and i think you are barking up the wrong tree. Jesus was jewish and he could have a form of messiah but he is not THE messiah. Jesus was not the son of god, he was an equal as we all are. The way you talk about Jesus in the 3, 4, and 5th paragraph is much like worshipment, and us jews dont believ in worshippin anyone but God. You say your jewish but you stand by christian beliefs.

Well, the definition of a Jew is one who follows Judaism and holds Judaism as their only religion. To be Jewish is to reject all other beliefs and accept Judaism for themselves. I respect your thoughts and beliefs. I'm sorry that other people don't.

They read them alright. They just don't misread them as you have. The suffering servant of Isaiah 53 is the nation of Israel, not Jesus, and is about the past, not the future. The theme of Isaiah is jubilation, a song of celebration at the imminent end of the Babylonian Captivity. It is in this setting that we find the Song of the Servant, chapter fifty-three. (In fact, chapter 53 is actually the fourth of a quartet of "servant songs". The others are 42:1-9, 49:1-6 and 50:4-9). Who, then, was this servant of whom deutero-Isaiah speaks? It is evident that the word is used in two different ways. First, it is used by deutero-Isaiah to apply to himself, as the servant of God (49:5). The word is used overwhelmingly, however, by the author to refer to the nation Israel itself.
Isaiah 41:8-9 But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend. Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.
Isaiah 44:1 Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen...Thus saith the Lord that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant...
Isaiah 44:21 Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me.
Isaiah 49:3 ...Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.
It should be abundantly clear, then, that the servant is the nation Israel. When we combine these two facts, the fact that the theme of second Isaiah is the restoration of Israel after Exile, and the fact that the servant is the nation Israel itself, we then find that the meaning of the Song of the Servant, in chapter 53, becomes clear.
Even Paul himself admits that Jesus was not revealed in the Tenach: Eph 3:4 When you read this you can understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, 5 which was not made known to human beings in other generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the spirit…
New Testament writers invent prophecy and twist prophecy and invent fulfillments to mould Jesus as the Messiah, but bottom line is .
Habakkuk 3:13 You come forth to save your people, to save your anointed one. You crush the heads of the wicked, you lay bare their bases at the neck…
If Jesus was the anointed one, then God would have saved hm and crushed the wicked that crucified him.
Ps 91:1 You who dwell in the shelter of the Most High, who abide in the shadow of the Almighty, 2 say to the Lord, “My refuge and fortress, my God in whom I trust.” 3 God will rescue you from the fowler’s snare, from the destroying plague… 11 For God commands the angels to guard you in all your ways. 12 With their hands they shall support you, lest you strike your foot against a stone…
Obviously the angels didn't do this either.
The Bethlehem census is a fabrication as was the slaughter of the innocents in Bethlehem. There's mor, but this is all readily available. So I would say one reason "your people" might reject your religion is because it is false.
