different christian churches teach different dogma on this issue. In the Catholic Church, it is believed that God is triune; that is that God is One; Three are One; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. This is not a concept which can be grasped by the human mind and which Catholics must take on faith and do their best individually to understand. Belief in the Trinity means that the Father is God, Jesus is God and the Holy Spirit is God. Since they are three in one, not one takes superiority or precedence over the others.
some Christians do not believe in the Trinity, although they do belive in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. In this belief system, Jesus is not God, but the Son of God
i think there are some Christians who don't believe in the Holy Spirit

God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.
God created heaven and earth. Genisis 1:1
God's only begotten son, Jesus, was born of a virgin. Matthew 1:18-25
Jesus sits at the right hand of God as an advocate on our behalf.
If we accept Jesus into our hearts and lives, the holy spirit dwells within us.

I'm also confused. Who is god? Has anyone ever actually met and/or talked with this "god" and can honestly say that "he" told them anything? Why do so many people have different ideas of what is suppose to be the only supreme being?
I bet the real god (whoever or whatever it is) is just as confused about all of us.

I hope no-one takes you seriously. All they have to do is look at the questions that you have asked (over 224 questions) to know that you senslessly ramble on and on in R&S and Philosophy sections.

Well, if you believe in God...you believe in Jesus!! But you gotta end your prayers off by saying 'I pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen...' or something along those lines!!

the way this was explained to me is this -- your dad is separate from your mom and you. your mom is separate from your dad and you. you are separate from your dad and mom. yet all three of you are connected and a part of each other.
