My girlfriend is 23 and she has shoulder length hair. I consider that "appropriate" since she looks beautiful. But that aside I don't think there's such thing as an appropriate hair length, it's about what suits you better.

I would think a 23 year old female could wear her hair anyway she wanted to and it would be appropriate.

Shoulder length bob. Nothing longer then the bottom of your shoulders. Add lots of layers or side bangs if you want to make it flirty-er or look to a favorite celeb for inspiration then take a picture of her to your salon when you get your hair cut so the stylist can have a visual idea of what you want.

At 23 you can have your hair any length you want, the bob is big this season.

i dnt think there is a wright or wrong when it comes to a female and her hair. i feel that no matter if it is long or short as long as it is decent and comfortable to u.Im 23 n my hair is right above my shoulders sort of like a short bob n i have color. so whatever makes u feel great.

well it depends are you in college, you should be but i dont know but if you are in colllege then you should have a cut just below your shoulders in layers, if you are not in colllege and are in a little unprofessinal shop try a cut just above yor shoulders with a really chopy bang, if you are a buisness woman try a short cut like a bob but a very choppy one because you are still young well i hope this helps and you may want to add color to some of these looks have fun finding one

It all depends on your job and what you are comfortable with. Another thing is that what color your hair is. I would say shoulder or a little longer but not too long or too short.

ANY hair length is fine, it should look how you want it to look like. i think somewhere near shoulder length could be considered 'normal' though.

it depends on your style, what you feel and the way you want look; either long or short can be sexy and atractive, if you have straight hair , a modern short cut could look very nice on you and if you have more curly, you can wea it long a little below your shoulders<<<
