My Ex-Boyfriend and I were really close i spent a lot of time with him and his family, and he spent a lot of time with mine. I went over and spent the night and we got pretty close. But now that we broke up (over the distance between us) im not sure if i miss the relationship or if i miss my best friend. Yes i do still like him but i feel like i just lost my best friend. Does anyone have any advice that might help me with my problem. I just want to know if its totally weird to feel like this....... should i just get over it of still hope that we could still be friends? He says he wants to be but does he really mean it?

its totally OK to feel like that.

if i was you i would tell him exactly how you feel. maybe he'll understand! and maybe he misses you too. its completely possible. just talk about it. ask your friends, tell them about it - they could have some great advice.

also, take this opportunity to eat a huge pint of ben & jerry's ice cream. no better time!

Sweetie,I lost my best friend..his family and, it's because of a very long distance. This guy was my Husband for over 34 years. He was my best friend, and life partner.I Loved being part of his family to.The distance can never be over-come...see,my husband died. He's now in Heaven. It's been almost 3 years now. There is an empty-spot left in my life now.Perk up...you can still reach out and have contact with this-best friend, and family.Put a smile on that face of yours. It's going to be OK.

All i can really tell you is time will tell, it's going to be hard put you can make it. Plus just try and talk to him if he talks to you then he probly meant it if not maybe he's just trying to get over you to. I am dating my best friend right know so i know how you feel, it normal, just give it time.

He will probably find another girl and not tell you about it and than you guys will get in a huge fight and never talk again. That is what happened to me at least. I say forget about it now before he f**ks you over.

it's not weird its actually normal...for me anyways!
althought you can't really read guys, if he says he doesn't want something, he normally means it.i think you should be missing your friendship more than anything, beacause that lasts forever, regardless but love is different. plus if you get really close as friends, you could get another chance, possibly.

I think you should talk to him frankly. Many wise people say that nobody should keep those kind of emotions inside.
Tell him how you feel and tell him what would you like.....

GOOD LUCK !
