Next ice age or the sun exploding or WW3 with nukes?

I believe ice ages have been coming in cycles of about 15,000 years and the last one was 10 or 11 thousand years ago. However, some scientists believe that global warming could make the climate unstable and actually precipitate an ice age ahead of schedule. Of course an ice age would not necessarily destroy humanity since we've already survived several in the past.
The sun is not the type of star that explodes so that won't happen. However it is the type that expands to a huge size toward the end of its life cycle and that would make it too hot for life to exist on earth. That expansion won't happen for about another 3 or 4 more billion years.
As far as World War III, check with G. W. Bush.

To the end of the earth is any ones guess. But the end of humanity the odds are about 12.78 billion to 1 of a comet/meteor impact getting us on any particular day.
For those that are not mathematicians that is also about 35 million to 1 in any given year.
In other words we have a better chance of being killed by space junk than we do of winning a lottery.
