I have done it.. Iespecially when my body is still warm..and the water is very cold.. that is why
and no, it is not ok.. it is disgusting and unhygienic.
that is why ideally, one showers first before one dives into the pool. not just to take a bath and clean oneself up but to drop the body temp as well
