It's not what you put it on. Let the meat cook for 10-12 minutes before the first flip on medium heat (6-8 on high heat). Another trick would be to microwave the meat for 5 min on high to brown the inside, then finish on the grill for 5-10 minutes for grilled appearance/flavor.

I make hamburgers from lean ground beef. I use the beef only, nothing extra. For more flavor you can add a package of onion soup mix and one egg to moisten it. When cooking your burgers, flip them only once. It's the turning that makes them fall apart.

1 of 2 things i use 2 fish grilles, with the patties in between. a pr of mitts & you can flip them pretty easy. They have a burger flipper that is like a scissor, scoop & hold it together while flipping. grilling made easy, good luck

Some bread crumbs and an egg. Make sure your grill is seasoned. And once they're on, don't touch them! I had to tell my help this. Let it sear, then flip. If it's not seared, they'll fall apart. Good luck!

an egg. i always put one egg for every 2 lbs of meat. you can put 1 egg for every 1lb if you like too. it is binding and keeps all the seasonings in aswell. mix the seasonings, egg and raw meat thoroughly then shape into patties. this really works! have fun grilling.

use my answer along with the first answer you got...dont turn the meat til it is done on one side....but if it isnt sticking together, try to mix some raw egg in the meat before you make the patties....it makes them a little fluffier as well
