anyone heard of the society of pius the tenth, or something like that and if so what is it all about

It is a traditionalist group of catholic prists who hold to doctrines and rites from before the Vatican II council.

They used to be excommunicated schismatics, but it seems they are on the way to being reconciled with the church under pope Benedict.
