My 2 year old started sticking his hand in his diaper. Sometimes after he poops. How can we get him 2 stop?

ah bless him, its normal for him to do this not very nice but normal, my son used to take it out and pass it to me most embarrassing in public. the joys of parenting

Potty train the boy. He is definately ready. Both of my boys were potty trained shortly after they were 2. Good Luck.

well, a) punish him with a spanking or something really drastic
and b) put him in a zip-up sleeper with legs (one without feet or with the foot part cut off) BACKWARDS, so that it is zipped up the back. This is more for bedtimes and times you can't watch over him.

I think it's a pretty common thing, ours did it too, and we put him in one-piece outfits, like bib overalls, to discourage it. I had to wash a lot of finger-painted walls before I figured this out, though!

My niece does that too. Its normal, he'll probably do that until he's potty trained. Hes just curious. x

its proably time for you to start potty training him or changing him as soon as he goes...my daughter used to do that at daycare and i talked to my doctor about it and he said the only thing he knew of was because she wasnt being changed shortly after going....goodluck to you

well you can start to potty train or if you don't think he's ready you can always put tight clothes or overalls on him so he can't do that.
