Recently I asked a question about how people deal with violence in the Bible and a Christian wrote me this:
"War was necessary to take the lands God had given to the Jewish nation. The people groups living in what was and is, Jewish land, had to be removed. God could not allow these people to mix with His holy nation. Have you investigated those people who lived there? Check into the Canaanites, they weren't exactly peace loving people."
I don't have anything against Jews, I accept Israel in the borders of 1948 and also think they have a right to defend themselves (by defence I mean defence, not aggression) , but my question is, are there Christians who apply the very violent Bible verses about war on today, and think that Israel had a right to do everything there? Do you think that Palestinians should be "removed" from that land (including West Bank)? Do you think Israelis had a Biblic right to kill Arab civilians? Would you approve if Israel used more violence than it does?

War is never the answer and Christ would not have approved. The Bible is manmade, but the example of Christ is historical. We know from his example that he would not have approved of war as a solution.

Most Israelis are not Jews, they are atheists from the former Soviet Union and E. Europe.
And they have no right whatsoever to murder anyone and steal their land. They are fulfilling no bible prophecies and are nothing more than opportunistic murderers and thieves being supported by stupid American Christian Zionists.
Israel is a greater menace than al qaida.

You don't know Bible Prophecy or you wouldn't ask this..
The whole world will attack Israel and she will defend herself to the end and will be losing completely when Jesus comes on the scene and kills a lot of people.. The Bible says that the valley of Armageddon will run horse bridle deep with blood.

i think if Jews had just immigrated peacefully to palestine there wouldnt have been a problem, there wasnt a problem after saladin took back jerusaleum without a drop of blood,whereas the crusaders killed everything(infants and animals), he still tolerated all religions, i think it could have happened

Israel should do whatever it takes to protect their people and land and defend themselves. If you were under attack would you just give up and let your enemy kill you? I don't think so... You shouldn't have an opinion about something that you don't understand. Violence is not ALWAYS a bad thing.
