maybe if you paid more attention to your dogs they wouldn't want to run away....

just a thought :)

if they are breeds that want to run and need lots of room, then that's your problem right there! take them for walks at least 3 times per day, with a good long run in there too. they want to run, but you're keeping them tied up, so they have all this pent-up energy, but no way to get rid of it, so the energy just keeps building up.

either take them for walks and runs a few times a day, or find a good home with a lot of property for them to run on.

This , this can be solved with a matter of some training and a lot of patience on your part. . Depending on how long they have doing this, it may take some time for them to know that they shouldn't jump through the screen. You might want to consult a professional trainer. My dog will not venture outside if I leave the door open and give her the stay" command.

Other than that, I'm not sure what to tell you besides keeping that particular window closed.

Why do your dogs want to run away? Sounds like they need more attention and more room to play.
