This depends on context. What are you forgetting?
If you are forgetting where you put things, make a habit of putting them in the same place every day.

If you are forgetting appointments, write them down.

If you are forgetting facts, practice reciting them. Or make them meaningful to yourself.

If you are forgetting your own name or other crucial information, see a doctor.

Just think, if you forget then you will most likely do them all over again. Remembering is good. Now put the memories where they belong and that is as part of you becoming a responsible person. We all and do mean all of have memories about things that we honestly regret. Most put those things in the past and get on with our lives. You can not go back and change what was. go ahead and be glad you learned so much.

It is natural for forget some of what you have learned. If there is something specific you need to remember you can make up flashcards for those items with the question on one side and the answer on the other. You can use those same flash cards in place of the question cards in a game of trivia pursuit. That might help to keep it interesting.

Make sure you understand the material and are not just trying to memorize it. Memorization will not help you retain the information for very long.

The first step is to stop worrying about it too much. The second is to guage whether or not they are dangerously forgotten, like leaving the stove on. Then make a decision to talk to an adult or naturally forget about it.

Take notes. Hang the notebook on a visible wall. Then you'll be forced to look at it every time you walk past it.
Or if you have the free time, try reciting some poems or some quotes and such you like. It helps me to keep my mind active.
But overall, I think taking notes is the best.
