I don't actually mean to worship your physical self, more like the God within you.

yes self worship is worshipping god. why? god is within everyone single being in this planet, and every single living and nonliving thing. its a shame to consider god a separate entity when he is in fact pulsating within us, u might not understand it or realize it, but god connects us all in some way or form, waking up and worshiping urself(anything) is perfectly ok, as long as u feel connected to him in some way. do not be afraid god will get mad or angry, thats just people who place human attributes on something much higher than them. just believe god is within you, and he is.

Oracle: I'm too holy to dwell in YOUR MOM.
OHHHHH.
Okay, anyway. I think self-worship is perfectly acceptable as a way to be a part of any religion. People have the right to worship what they choose and how they choose.

Good question, if christians make statues of Jesus and pictures of him on the Cross, is it ok to worship them?
God isn't inside us, not physially at least, maybe he's in our minds and hearts, but that doesn't make it ok to self worship.

I don't worship either but technically, the inner-christ concept is valid to some degree and it is basically the same concept as shapeshifting.
Basically, to be the person you know you should be but don't because of materialistic distractions or obligations.
But then again, I believe god is us and them, and everything.

It is certainly a consideration. And we do operate from many levels at many different times, so the ego can then become God. And look at what that can cause? How about the Jim Jones affair?

God is not within everyone. God dwells within those who have received the Gift of Pardon through His Son Jesus Christ. God is too Holy to dwell in a body of Sin.

Self is the antithesis of God because it is the product of free will and desire. Extinguishing self and realising your true spiritual nature and oneness with the divine fulfills God's purpose.
