Evangelism is the practice of trying to convert others to one's own faith. Pedophilia is the practice of sexually seducing underage children. Both occur when the practitioner holds the delusion that they are offering "love" when in fact they are manipulating and dominating their victims. Each also targets the vulnerable and leads to the victim later to victimize others.
{This idea was proposed by the Australian Anglican priest Rev. Christopher Heath in his interview on the "shrink rap podcast" 13-Sept-2006.)

Evangelism shouldn't be to convert anyone to their own faith but to the one true Church that being God Himself. I think I know what you are trying to say but please don't use the two in the same idea. It is a bizarre attack on the Christian faith and this man Heath shouldn't be calling himself a Rev. A person at the worst might suffer disilluionment in the Christian Faith but nothing that a victim of a pedophile does. I was going to pass this as being to bizarre but felt compelled to answer.

If that isn't a twisted way of thinking, I don't know what is. Evangelists are trying to bring people to Christ to save their souls. Pedophiles are trying to harm children and that has absolutely nothing to do with love. Evangelists are not trying to dominate anyone. Pedophiles do want to dominate and control their child victims. Adults have free will whether or not to follow Christ after hearing what an evangelist says. Children are coerced and lied to, scared and held hostage by pedophiles and do not have free will. They are victims of pedophiles.
Rev. Christopher Heath needs to have his head examined.
