i just got Adobe Photoshop and my girlfriend wants me to take her picture and put her next to a celbrity and i dont know how to do this so if anyone could tell me how to do this it would be greatly apprecitaed

get the non uniform selection tool, move around her, cut paste in the desired picture, use smooth around the pasted area so it would look pretty the same..
it would be easier if the background of ur gf picture was one color, u can set this color as the transparent one without having to use selection tool..

find a good picture if a celebrity and make sure the body/face of celeb and of ur gf is the same size (so it doesnt look so fake) and try to get a picture of ur gf with a clear background so theres nuthing beind her ...like a white wall...and use the "magic wand" tool to click the background and delete it. then take her picture and paste is onto the pic with the celeb...u shud try using a the smudge tool around the body of ur gf so it looks more like shes actually there....good luck and hopefully ur not makin up this whole girlfriend story lol

Drag and drop your girlfriend's photo into Photoshop, and also the pic of the celebrity. Use the lasso tool and draw around the shape of your girlfriend. Click edit, then copy, then click on the pic of the celebrity and click edit, paste. Then you can use the move tool to position her. You can also size her to fit next to the celeb using the transform selection in edit mode. This is the basic way to do it.
