I assume you are trying to find a missing refund that you asked to have direct deposited into your bank account. I also assume you can't find your copy of your return, because it would be there if you could. The link below explains how to order a copy of your tax return form the IRS. I recommend calling 1-800-TAX-1040 first. They may be able to help you over the phone. If they can't they can tell you if the information you need is included in a 'tax transcript' which is free. An actual copy of your return costs $39.00.

try to find any paperwork or transaction slips of any kind pertaining to the company or service. maybe you can call who you gave it to. they should tell you which bank you listed
