It is an acquired taste, my father sampled it when I first purchased it a said he could taste the fur??

If you can find goats milk yougart or cheve cheese, it is not as strong, and there is no real way to take the taste away, goats milk is just very low in lactose and milk sugars, so for people who have a milk allergy it is prefered

Having a friend who was allergic to cow's milk during the 60's, there weren't many alternatives like there are today, so goat's milk was the choice. It was one of the most disgusting things I had ever tasted.

I've had cheese made with it, and I thought it was very pungent! A little strong for my taste! I've never drank the milk, though.
