Sorry to tell ya but no dog is free, if you get the dog for free you still have to get the food and vet checkups. You could check in your local newspaper. unfortunately people get pets and than realize that they can't take care of them or just don't want them anymore. I would advise you to go to your local animal shelter and look at the dogs there, they all need good homes and they have all their shots and checkups.
