This is a very common problem. Men have been given power and in this society and will use ANYTHING and say ANYTHING to stay there, even if it is not true. (Women are more emotional and can have a value on love, but that doesn't apply to every woman!) Know your boundaries and question 10 times before responding too quickly to what other people want emotionally.

Some guys will tell a girl whatever they think she wants to hear to get what he wants...understand? Be careful with this guy and don't give in to him until you fully and completely trust him. It sounds like he's playing with you. You can find someone else who will treat you with the respect and honesty you deserve.

The most likely reason is for sex. However sometimes guys tell a girl that he loves her even if he doesnt because he doesnt wanna disappoint tat gal. It's a stupid reason and proves that he's soft.
