It has been 2 weeks and I would like to know if it is normal to feel a lump (larger than before) where the lipoma had been removed? Also, there is a very tiny hard lump, but could be scar tissue. Please help me

Lypomas are fatty cell tumors and are usually benign. After any surgery, you need watch the incision for any swelling, redness or discharge because that could indicate infection. Like the previous answer, it may just be fluid build up under the incision. Your vet can suture in a drainage tube or sometimes just use a needle to aspirate the fluid from the incision.

As far as the hard lump, as you said, that is probably just scar tissue from the inner sutures, but still have your vet re-evaluate the incision.

Hmmm, maybe it's filling up with fluid and he needs to have it extracted; also, didn't your Vet have you come in for a followup visit? Does he seem to be in any pain? Is he on medication? Maybe he's having a reaction to the meds? I think a newer, larger lump is definitely something to get checked out...soon!

CONSULT YOUR VETERINARIAN, I'd venture a guess that no one on these message boards are Veterinarians or oncologists. CONSULT YOUR VET. No one can tell you about you dog if they don't have the medical history. Don't use message boards to try and diagnose your dog. Concult the vet who did the surgery.
