Hey I'm the same! I believe in God definately but not the whole he sits on a throne in heaven thing, it makes him seem mortal. I believe God is essentially everything and we are just part of him. Fate, miracles, life is just God in some form or another. But I try to avoid Jehovah's witnesses because they piss me of a little. I don't like religious nuts because seriously, too many innocent people have been killed because of someone's faith.

Anyway, I Didn't catch the whole Harvey thing, cool you found it!! Why do you think I wouldn't show you round? You think you've scared me off? Ha ha, takes a lot more than that dear to scare old Harvey off! Though Spiders is definately one way. Grande Arachnophobe. Just got back from a party, it was utterly booring, need a stiff drink - (don't go thinking anything rude now Kiki)

I believe that God is a an energy, or force in this universe. I believe that God lives within each of us, an in every living thing. I believe that we All have access to this energy but that the more dogma/religion we put before ourselves the more we are prevented from being who God intend us to be.
For religion to say that there is Only one way, their way, is absurd and offensive. But, I guess some people need that.

I do.

We have to incorporate God in our lives, talking about Him would be one way of doing that. It also helps us to assess where we really are in our faith. Also, it facilitates learning. A courageous, unshakeable one is admirable.

We dont have to go shout at the streets. When issues arise, there are three probable reactions:
Passive- you don't react. Maybe because you're afraid. maybe because you just don't care.
Assertive-You voice out your beliefs in a way that people would know without shoving these at their faces. You respect othet's opinions but pave respect for your own opinion too.
Aggressive- Probably just too emotional. You tell your opinions but tend to step on other people's shoes.

believing is not everything. We must also do, think, and act. Think about it

I also believe in GOD. the only basic difference in any religious belief system and another are the rituals and ceremonies they perform. as long as each respect the free will of the other to worship as they choose all should get along. the main problem as I see it is when any religion breaks this mutual respect and tells someone " my religion is the only way worship the way I tell you attitude. " here the conflict and resentment starts.

YES i believe in God and for Jehovah's Witnesses they are a mind controlling cult, matter of fact they wrote their own bible to suit their own needs. Did you know that the name JEHOVAH is not god's name? it's a invented name just like their religion. I ignore them and the false prophet as their leader was. Yes Charles t. Russel predicted the the world would come to a end in 1914???????????????????????

No, I don't. I like the way you keep your beliefs private. If only everyone would do that, the world would be much more peaceful.
