I know that they can be a bit expensive but GHDs really are the best on the market - I went to a music festival not that long ago and I couldn't wash my hair - My hair stayed poker straight. You can get them for about 80 pounds and even tho that sounds expensive you wont regret it - Honestly no other products even come close

I really don't think there is a dramatic difference between expensive ones and cheap ones, as long as they have ceramic plates so not to dry out and damage your hair. I got mine for
$14 at Kroger on sale, it has ceramic plates and has always worked excellently, though I really only use it around twice a month.

There's this one i bought called corioless..it's $130 but its TOTALLY WORTH IT! Just straiten in after you hair has dried after a shower and it stays strait until you take another shower. It doesn't fry your hair, it uses infared waves. I use it so much that i can take a couple of showers and my hair will stay strait! PS you'll have to buy it online or something because I bought it from a koisk in the mall.

Look for ones that have solid ceramic plates (not ceramic coated).
Babyliss ceramic straighteners from Argos are good and they are a lot cheaper than GHDs.

GHDs are definitely the best - I should know, I've tried them all. Don't know where Kathy above got them for £29.99, but I would snap them up pronto. Other than that, try on-line, you can usually get them for about £75 - try amazon. Hope this helps.

Any ceramic ones. GHD are best if you can afford them. Superdrug has them for £89.99 just now.
If you can wait till after xmas you'll get loads of bargains. Boots usually has a fab sale on straightners.

GHDs are pricey but well worth the money, they heat quickly and evenly, have pure ceramic plates and last ages! Well worth the money believe me!
