Avoid to marry such girl- sorry. Is Leucoderma Hereditary? Another probable cause for leucoderma is hereditary, i.e. it is sometimes passes down through generations. Basically if one or both parents have leucoderma, their children may have a fraction of a higher risk than other children of having this skin disorder. Though even normal people are at a risk of having leucoderma despite no family history, the chances of developing this skin disorder are a bit more in people who have parents or grandparents suffering from leucoderma. Sadly in cases where leucoderma is hereditary there are less chances that it will get completely cured. However, homeopathy treatment and some home remedies for cure, like use of psoralea seeds and red clay in ginger water, or goosefoot, turmeric powder, etc. can help prevent the disorder from spreading and regaining the normal skin pigmentation. Another matter of consideration is that quite often people mistake temporary white patches on the skin for leucoderma symptoms that disappear in a week or so. Hence, before considering such patches as leucoderma patches, do consult a dermatologist to ascertain your condition and then prescribe you necessary treatment. To conclude we can say that genetics does play some role in leucoderma, though the role is very minor. Hence, hereditary cannot be the only factor that may trigger the chances of having leucoderma as there are many other factors that may contribute, to this skin disorder. However, in order to reduce the risks of having this skin disorder you should make healthy dietary changes by avoiding too much of tea, coffee, alcoholic beverages, all condiments and highly flavored dishes, sugar, white flour products, denatured cereals like polished rice and pearled barley, and tinned or bottled foods. And also one should eat a balanced diet containing seeds, nuts, grains, vegetables, and fruits to live and stay healthy in the long run. good luck and God bless you

I am 39 years old and have been suffering from Vitiligo virtually all my life. It started as a small white patch then slowly spread all over my body. https://tinyurl.im/aHPjF

My mum kept me away from school many times because of the jibes of other kids. I kept asking her why I was different but she kept insisting I was special. I didn't feel special at all. I felt cursed and looking like a freak.

I must say that many vitiligo products out there are total duds and should be banned from the market. Anyway, when I began to use this treatment https://tinyurl.im/aHPjF I did not notice the results until a few days later when it became apparent to me that my skin was changing. I couldn't believe it and every night I was checking the bathroom mirror to make sure that it was real. I would wake up every morning and rush to the mirror to make sure I was not dreaming.

Leukoderma is a condition acquired w/ localized loss of pigmentaion (color) of the skin. It can me a mole w/ a circular formation around it which may appear abnormal (w/o color). Also, HEED this, syphilitic leukoderma appears (usually) as an indistinct, coarsely mottled hypopigmentation, usually on the sides if the neck, in late stages of secondary syphilis. Secondary: two to six months after the primary "sore" disappears, the secondary stage of syphilis begins and may last up to two years. Usually, a rash is one of the first symptoms and may cover any part of the body and often will spread over the entire skin surface..even the palms and soles of the feet. It may resemble the measles, but does not itch. Blood tests can positively id it. During secondary syph., thin white sores may appear on the mucosa (inner lip areas) of the mouth, throat, genitalia and rectum. Fever, headache and a general feeling of illness are common. Hair may fall out in patches, bones and joints may be painful, and anemia may develop...compare to flu-like symptoms and fatigue. Sometimes the eyes can be affected. This stage is HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS and of GREAT DANGER to others. This IS an STD. Kissing w/ mouth sores present can spread this disease. This stage can disappear by itself generally w/in three to twelve weeks, but MAY RETURN later if the organisms are stil present. Agressive penicillin and/or other anitibiotic therapy or treatment CAN CURE this disease. Don't mean to scare you, but would be safe to have a STD specialist or Dr. do some blood work and look at the suspicious skin site.
