Ok, so I was going to post this in the GLBT section, but that seemed kind of pointless since most of us over there are gay. I figured, hey most of the people here are straight, so I'll ask them. Think really hard about your answers though; on the GLBT forum, many people ask, "Why are you gay?" So to these people and the rest of you I ask:

FYI- Adam and Eve isn't an answer. I was raised Christian, I know the creation stories too. I want to WHY you FEEL the way you do towards certain people.

That's like asking why was I born, however some gay people are because of other reason, molestation at a young age, different as a young boy and not accepted by their piers, ans so on.
being straight is not taught it's natural for a boy to look at a women and know to want her. Gay some yes but many because of the above

I am straight because that's what society tells me I am. When I was a li'l girl, my friends and I use to practice being boyfr and girlfr. When I got a li'l older, I liked like every boy. I was never picky. I like people. Well , nice people anyways (and pray for the evils) but my gay (guy) friend said he could always feel that he liked boys from his youth. We are born that way. SO off that I'd like to say, I don't think God persecutes gays, humans do. After all He created us, Jesus said "love your enemies, only loving those who love you~ what reward is there?" And so on lives mankind's own (silly) contradictions. We are who we are. And now that I am a mom, and a lover, I wonder if we are all gay..... and straight?

I did check out the alternative (because, you know, I was in college). And it was eh. That's about it.
It's funny--I've been dubbed a "carrier"; able to spread it but not affected. My sister is a lesbian, every best friend I've ever had is gay (I recently caught up with my elementary school buddy and found out she's a lesbian), and my boyfriend is...well, quite open. I get mad at straight people occasionally and have to stop and remember I'm one of them...

because the Ladies have such interesting thoughts and ideas, wisdom and knowledge. they also are our helpmates and provide comfort and joy to me from the time I was born and will until I die along with a reason to continue through this Veil of Tears.

I am attracted to members of the opposite sex. I dont know why I just am. I accept what I am and I accept others for what they are. Whatever you are enjoy it rather than question it.

the people who ask you, if you're gay, are stupid. WHY NOT???? maybe they believe in God and can't accept it, if somebody is gay.
