I don't believe we are pracities as I think we are a part of evolution if we paracities naeture would have found a way to get rid of us !!! other than the diseases, and natural calamities that are everyday events which hardly hurt the human population.

At a couple of removes. Plants are direct parasites upon the Earth; animals are parasitses on plants. At the top of the food chain, humans are "parasites" on everything else edible.

Some not all. Anyone who dirties the earth is a parasite. I drive a car so I guess that makes me one.

Funny that you should say that because I have though the exact same thing. How do we know that we're not a "bacteria" to the Earth that has just spread so much the Earth hasn't been able to fight back.
