I was in acccelerated math last year... [8th grade] and it was pretty cool.
maybe even though you turned everything in... it wasn't fully up to expectations...
I'm not calling you stupid or anything...
but maybe you should take a normal math class...
even though you turned everything in, maybe the class was TOO challenging?
I'm really not trying to down-grade your math skills... or trying to call you stupid...
that is just my idea.
did/do you find it challenging?
if so, talk to your councelor/teacher/principal to change classes.
It is not a big deal... i know a bunch of kids who dropped out of accelerated classes because they couldn't do the material.
it's okay, so don't be embarassed either.
or... if it is your tests you are falling behind on... ask another student in your class to help you study.
that is fun and it really helps!

ask her why you were marked so low. Maybe you turned it all in but the quality of the work was not up to the accelerated expectations. The marking is much harder in these classes, and you have to really think if you want to be in such a tough class. Talk to your teacher and ask how you can raise your mark, where you are falling behind, and if she can help you get back on track

Just like my students... you expect a good grade because all work is handed in?

You have to EARN a good grade by 1. turning in assignments which are complete and done correctly on time and 2. performing well on tests (which might mean studying extra).

The grade you receive has nothing to do with whether the teacher likes you or not. It has to do with the quantity and quality of your work.

I agree with all of the above answers. You must keep an open line of communication with your instructor and the instructor needs to give you regular feedback....ESPECIALLY in an accelerated class, lest you be left miserably behind the rest of the class.

Turning in every assignment is different from turning in a "correct assignment on time". Check your correctness and punctuality. The problem might be in that area.

It's great that you turn everything in, but it also has to be correct. Ask your teacher if you can see your work to see if you made any errors in your assignments.

You're probably not performing well on your tests. You need to talk to your teacher, and you probably need a tutor.
