He told the fisherman to drop their net on the otherside of the boat. They obeyed & caught a multitude of fish.
When they needed to pay their taxes, Jesus told His disciplt to catch a fish & in it would be a coin. So did & paid their taxes.

I imagine He fished, did odd jobs, gleaned His own food from a field when a person offered him something. There is a refernece to something of that nature.
