the grandfather, the father and the son.
the grandfather is the father of the father and the other father is the father of the son.
the son is the son of the grandfather and the other son is the son of the father.

1 grandfather, 1 father, 1 son = 2 fathers and 2 sons. There are actually only three people. The grandfather and father are both fathers and the father and grandson are both sons. Hence each of them get one of the three eggs.
