I tried to explain to my gf that I can't read her mind like words on a computer screen and if she wanted to call it off to just get it over with and break up with me. But she said she was just joking around and that she loves me. Why would anyone be joking around like that anyway? I guess the punchline or the reason why it was funny went over my head. Has anyone had a simular experience? Thanks

Shw was probably seeing if you would react sadly to it But.. i know your GF and she loves you alot she told me she cant wait to spend more time w/ her but if u want to forgive her let her know it but plz dont tell her 2 git the road cuz she would be so sad and id hate 2 see what she would do.

Sounds sad and weird. Either she was doing this just to see how you would react, we call that insecurity. Or she is really assessing your reaction for a possible breakup later. Have a talk with her. You must never allow your partners to get away with something like that.
