If i have a torn esophagus, what is there to do??

it's in the area ini the front of the neck near the adam's apple.it hurts when i swallow. i've had the pain for some weeks now. i went to the doc and he didn't even suggest it could be that... and i'm not bleeding. But if it is esophagus torn, i read in a website it heals on its own but i've had pain for days now and it doesn't seem to heal.

it would be bleeding if it were torn .it maybe scratched and will heal all on its own

If you r scared,consult another doctor.I've experienced it bfore but it doesn't last that long,the most is two days.
