I have been struggling with my weight since about 9 too. I am 23 years old now, 133 pounds and 5 ft 1. My highest was 160 and my lowest is probably about what I weigh now.
I don't know why. I gain weight so easily and I get so frustrated everytime when that happens. I have found that my main problem is portion control. Sometimes I eat too much in one course of the meal, and I think that's why I have the extra weight.
I was on Nutrisystem. www.nutrisystem.com for couple months. That's when I learn that portion control is extremely important. I think if you started to see that your weight is going up again, watch how much you are eating in one meal.
I wish we don't have to worry about weight at all.. but unfortunately it's just our nature that we care about how we look like.

Gaining and losing weight is a lifetime struggle for all women, it seems. The only ones who don't struggle are the ones who don't admit it! Or those dingy chicks who can eat anything and not gain weight. The only thing that keeps it off is rigorous exercise and attention to fat and calorie intake. Now that I've said that, keep in mind that most people gain a little as they get older, so don't beat yourself up for a few pounds, just keep eating healthy and exercising. Your body will settle at it's own level eventually if you're eating and exercising as you should.

hei, same kind with my mom. to stop this yoyo-effect, you need to gain total control of your feeding - stop reading diet articles or using diet powder and low-carb stuff, don't grab the 0% stuff, but:
eat healthy, regularly, don't skip any meals, enjoy the food whilst eating (yeah, this is it, you feel less hungry), and maybe drink half a glass water before each meal, don't snack whilst watching TV. After about 2months the body senses it doesn't need to save up stockings of fat (a diet is a hunger-period for your body) and then I suppose you'll loose pounds slowly. the point is to return to normality rather than to start the whole diet process again.
And stop being frustrated. ^.-

Hi. Oooooh, you poor kid. Isn't it awful? I have been at this forever! But, I have learned one little thing that may help. It really is all in the mind. There is no automatic pilot. I eat because of what is going on between my ears. Outside diets do not do as much as inside honesty.
