It will work if you want it to.. I was in love with a girl 2 states away from me. I moved to be with her, year and a half later I'm happy as can be. If either of you can't make the change to be together then the love is in question.

It'll definitely take a lot of time to get used to, but if you two really love each other, I should work out. The problem is distance, of course, so depending on how far you live apart, distance could be the ultimate factor that tears the relationship apart. Just try to see him as much as possible because then you might not feel that connection anymore and I know you don't want that.

Depends on a lot of things. I was in a long-distance (4 hours away) relationship with my husband for 3 years before I moved to where he was. However, we saw each other one weekend a month for those 3 years, talked on the phone a lot, etc. It all depends on how much you both truly want it.....how faithful each of you are.....how much you see each other.....etc....most long distance relationships don't work out, but some do.

Love will overcome a lot of struggles. I have had a long distance relationship for 2 years before and I ended up married to him. He is the best husband anyone could wish for. If it is meant to be, it will be. The distance will not be something that will defeat you. It all depends on how much you both want this relationship and each other. It depends on your level of commitment to each other. It is definately not easy but is worth the wait. We would both tell you that .

The problem is that the distance is just so darn far apart. I imagine him looking at other women during this time because he can't see you considering you are so far. He might still love you, but it must be really rough with you not there. Hours shouldn't be as bad as a state or states away. If it's only hours or hour, then don't worry about it.

End it now...long distance relations dont ever workout, why put yourself through the stress. better yet, why not have the best of both worlds, have a lover on the side.

if both of you truly love each other, work things out and make sure you guys don't 'wander' off, it will work. you have to be pretty serious though.
