I have a 13 yr old cat who is shockingly thin, around 7 lbs. She had a vet check two months ago (as she does every year) all her blood work was excellent, her fur is in very good condition, eyes are bright, teeth have no tartar nor plaque. I have two male cats, ages 12 and 14 who weigh twelve pounds, two females who weigh in at eight.

My point is that it can depend on the cat. I had a fat grandmother and a thin grandmother. I happen to take after the thin one and have never had a weight problem so I do think that genetics has a great deal to do with it.

I think a 7 month old kitten would be around 7-8 pounds. Unless her ribs are really sticking out it shouldn't be a matter for concern, especially if she is eating well. When did your cat have her last vet check? If she is a "patient" at a clinic and has been spayed and had her shots there you can just run her by for a weigh-in and they would not charge for that. Then take her back in a month and weigh again. She is still growing so she should be picking up at least a pound a month for now.

There is not a valuable degree of traditional weight for a fifteen yr historical. It is determined by peak as good as weight. You cannot assume an individual who's 6 toes tall to weigh the equal as an individual who's five toes tall. At five'two" and ninety three kilos your BMI is best 17.zero, as others have already mentioned. That is drastically underweight, above all for a fifteen yr historical lady who's in general nonetheless developing in peak. If you develop a different inch in peak and keep that weight your BMI will drop to sixteen.five, that's critically underweight. If you critically believe you're too fats at that measurement then you definitely perhaps soreness from the onset of anorexia. That sickness will get into your brain and makes you obsessive approximately your weight and frame form. You particularly have to placed on no less than 10 kilos of weight and will have to be aiming at approximately one hundred ten kilos to be healthful and trustworthy. If you're nonetheless satisfied that you're too fats see a general practitioner as you're in critical risk of an consuming ailment.
