It is 4 cups in a quart.
2 cups in a pint, 2 pints in a quart.
4 quarts in a gallon.

You might want to pick up the big Betty Crocker cookbook, or the Better Homes & Gardens cookbook. They're indispensable, and have tons of conversions and substitutions.

A quart is 32 ounces, and a cup is 8 ounces, so yes, the previous answers are correct.....4 cups to a quart.

If you look on the Internet and google "convert ... to ..." you can not only find this one but also how many teaspoons in a tablespoon, how many tablespoons in a cup, and how many bushels in a peck. If you are going to use these facts often jot them down on an index card and save yourself the trouble.
