We are born with a free will. God does not call enyone at the end. If you smoke and get lung cancer, that is a choice you make. If you get killed in an auto accident, it's just that, an accident, not God causing it.

so, you are part of God's great plan (i.e. you have the power of free will, to do as you will, but God already knows what your choices will be). However, when you die you must answer for your choices and be judged by the Almighty. Now, we get into faith and prayer. Say you are going to die, it's inevitable. You are in the hospital and the doctors are doing everything that they can to save you, but you are still going to die. If enough people, say one, petitions God through prayer for your life; you will live. Unless your time in his plan is truly up. Hard to explain. I myself suffered from a mortal gunshot to the head. The least to be expected was a life as a vegetable, but through faith and prayer I survived with no long term side effects. Perhaps I was judged and found unready to be. I don't know. I do know that with the exception of free will, God is the Almighty with infinite power. Though He may not divinely intervene in your life, He already knows what will happen to you. Kind of, He set you up so that He does not have to interfere with your natural course. Perhaps you should ask a priest.

None, humans have a conscience, that is a power in itself that we have yet to fully understand our true ability. The forces that rule over us will use the power of physiology to confuse us, until we become trap as to believe God help us or we did it ourselves. Why would God do all these things if he knew in advance who would accept him, why would he need this type of system. I don't consider myself an atheists or religious but I just can not accept the guilt and shame of god, Adam & Eve, Jesus, the people have paid in blood, labor, faith and yet, religion intices braging rights, As in the lord gave me $5,000 to buy my new car, yet they fail to mention the rest of the story, like the 5 years they must suffer to pay it.

The bible isnt a waste of space if you are asking this question, The bible is what christians follow and what christianity is about, if you ignore it, then your ignoring christianity altogether.
there are 2 things God wont do to you, everything else hes got the power:
1. He wont directly kill you
2. He wont put you into a situation you are incapable of getting out of.

God gives those who need it ample time to learn and make the choices necessary to gain the understandings we have come here to get.
The only ones who check out early are the ones who have come to teach. They often have nothing further to learn and are only here to be of service to the rest of us who still have work to do.
One thing is certain, none of us are getting out of here alive, but you will be given all the opportunity you will need to attain the goals you have come to achieve. You have no concept of how important you are to God or how much you are loved.
Love and blessings

If you believe in the infinite powers of God, why would you try to place constraints on his powers. When your are faith driven, I think the faith had best be completely given and that means not questioning the wonders or abilities of the God you have chosen to have faith in. For faith, if it is not truly total and complete, means nothing and is not really faith at all.

He maintains your existence every nanosecond of every day. If he would stop thinking about you, you would not exist. The only reason he took the time to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah was to teach a lesson. When he is done it could be just "Game Over"

Yes he can, he slaughtered thousands of children in the bible.
If you're speaking ofthe xian god, how can u ban bible verses? How does a xian have any concept of their god without what the bible tells them? Do people in other cultures with no bible suddenly have opinions on god? You lost me on that one...

well, this is not the bible, but can i quote someone? pretty please!?
ok, swami rama says "you are already god, you must now learn to be human".
so he thinks that we are already god. so what can god do to us while we are alive?
going by what he said god can do good and do evil. it's either that god works miracles, or we bring goodness upon ourselves.
