when i want to open a document, it says the file is not aviliable.... I don't get it because the document has been saved...whats wrong with it?

Maybe the file has moved, or it was saved on another computer (or server) that you're not connected to now. Or it has been saved to a floppy, CD or USB device that's not in the computer right now.
Click start - Search - search for files and folders, and enter the name of the file to see if it is available on your computer.

Go straight to the folder where you saved the document and see if it's there.
If it is there click on it to open.
If it's not there run a search for it.
Also if you are actually trying to open your document from word make sure you select all files in the file type.

its possible the document has been corupted or its even possible that you have saved the file to a location like a pen drive or cd somewhere other than your computer.
