I'm not trying to offend, just from reading his story it seems like he really wanted to get hurt. He provoked people to dislike him.

Whats your thoughts on this?

Since if he ever lived, his story is almost certainly NOT that presented in the "gospels," I'd say the real masochists are his followers.

He did not provoke people to dislike them. He simply rattled their cages by showing the flaws in their thinking and following a sytem of Laws that had been made redundant. I do not think he was a masochist at all. When you swim against the current you have to know you are likely to hit the corals and rough sand every now and again.

I'm not sure you know the meaning of that word, it deals with "pleasure being derived from physical or emotional abuse for sexual gratification". Not merely violence, but no I don't. I am sure he was the most peace full of all mankind. He didn't provoke anyone, He said the words of truth and testimony that most of us could not comprehend. And don't forget my friend, He knew why He came. He knew He would be bound and tortured, that's why He was born. To save sinners like u and I.

When you tell the truth (even in love) you're going to offend some people. Should he have kept his mouth shut just to keep from making enemies?

No, Jesus did not want to die. He even prayed to God to remove this burden from Him. You should really read the gospels with an unbiased heart, friend.
