are there any paramedics out there that can tell me?

on average how many gunshot wounds to the head do you see and the people survive

Personally, I haven't seen any gunshots to the head yet, but I've only been doing this for about 6 months, and I work in a small Southern city (so not much trauma of that sort!)
According to this article http://www.glaciermedicaled.com/facialtrauma/15gunshot_wound.html over 90% of patients with gunshots to the head die.
