It is always tough when an entire group is stereotyped. I am a Christian and I have gay friends. I do not believe that what they are doing is right under God's law.
Here is the catch, God's law also states to love people even when they sin. A sin is a sin is a sin in the eyes of the Lord. So I think of myself and what sins have I commited - scripture tells us that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
Judgment is not up to me it is up to the Lord, I have enough trouble concentrating on the log in my eye and I need not worry about the speck in someone Else's eye.
Now do I pray for those individuals? Yes, I do! We are all struggling with one thing or another in this world and I pray for many people and many things.
As for the procreate part, there are numerous gay people that do procreate and stay with their significant other so in my opinion I do not see gays as anti-human.

I am a Christian. I do not hate gays. Like most people in the world, Christians can tend to be quite hypocritical. Homosexuality is a sin, period. But then again, so is any sex between two people that are not married to each other. Society has taught us that being gay is just way more gross than almost anything else, and many Christians can't get past that part. We are all sinners, but Jesus can change that.
And yes, I have met people who were formerly gay, became a Christian, and became straight. My wife knew a couple who were both gay and lesbian prior to becoming a Christian, and now they have children, and they run a ministry trying to show homosexuals about Jesus Christ, showing what he has done in their lives.

If you would read 1 Corinthians 6:9-19 you would find out most christians objestion to the gay life style ot the people .We are not too judge that is alone for God. I do not agree with gays trying to adopt as i fear that it influences the childs sexuality, which I believe will make them responsible for the soul of that child if they turn gay. I am not trying to judge these are my feelings and I do leave the Judging to God.

I think with the world getting close to being unable to support its own population, not procreating is the best thing one could possibly do for humanity.

Oh but I do. Some of my best friends are gay. They are just people like anybody else. The god of my up bringing says NOT to judge others, to love them. I guess for some this is a test to live by the word of god.

Procreation is not the only thing one may add to humanity... to believe so would say those who are sterile have no use...
Humantity benefits from the arts, good will, thought & ideas, and community.

True Christains do not dislike gay people, it's the act they disagree with because God's view is what matters.
Homosexuality is not an alternative life-style acceptable to God. Frequently, both gay and liberal preachers twist the scriptures in futile endeavors to make it seem that it is. (2Â PETER 3:16) Thousands of years ago God destroyed Sodom because most of the males of that city practiced it. (GENESIS 19:4-25)
In unmistakable language, both male homosexuality and lesbianism are condemned by the inspired apostle Paul: “God gave them up to disgraceful sexual appetites, for both their females changed the natural use of themselves into one contrary to nature; and likewise even the males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males, working what is obscene and receiving in themselves the full recompense, which was due for their error.”—ROMANS 1:26, 27.
Paul also wrote: “Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom.” (1 CORINTHIANS 6:9, 10) Other Bible translations render the expression “men who lie with men” in various ways, as follows: sodomites, perverts, sexual perverts, homosexual perverts, homosexual perversion, and just plain homosexuals.
But the verses go on to say that although they used to practise such things God, they had stopped and been washed clean by means of Jesus sacrifice. So, God does forgive if the necessary changes are made.
So, just as a hetrosexual person should refrain from sex outside marriage (marriage being the only acceptable situation for sexual intimacy in the eyes of God) then so should a homosexual person if he/she wants to be pleasing to God.
For a homosexual to find a religion that suits his/her lifestyle is also unacceptable in the eyes of God. All religions do not lead to God.

We are to love the sinner, but hate the sin.
Being gay is like a slap in Gods' face. The Bible calls it 'unnatural love'.
God created all of us humans for His Glory, and told us 'to go out and multiply', meaning, to have children. Children are the worlds' and Gods' greatest gifts. Gays cannot 'multiply'---because they choose not to. They're looking for love in all of the wrong places. They claim that it's 'in their genes', well, it's in their *jeans* alright! It's just an excuse to blatantly flip God off.
I have personally known of two people who chose this life style because they wanted a sense of 'belonging', and, 'love'. They have since come out from it, learning that it is wrong, and that it's *not* in their genes.
Mmmmmmmm, 'in their genes',.........if ya think about it, ALL sin/wickedness could be in our genes, rooting from Adam and Eve. It's just that *most* folks *wish* to please God, instead of pushing Him to the limit, and *making Him* cast folks into hell!
*Why* don't we like the gay behaviour? For the same reason why we don't agree with the behaviour of the following: murderers, liers, cheaters, gossipers, adulturers, fornicators, witchcraft, drugs, disobeying of parents, beastiality, coveting, dis-hounour, unloving, stealing, bearing false witness, and so and so forth.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~This doesn't mean that we can't change our ways, and be forgiven. *Tons* of people have!
