You have the wrong attitude to go into a marriage.
You shouldn't have to keep asking yourself this. Why it may seem romantic and straight out of a movie, it's not. It shows your insecurities and desperation.
Try this: live life. Don't focus on marriage and don't focus on the wedding. If you go into every relationship thinking "this is it! He's the one!" and he ISN'T the one, you're going to become more and more desperate.
My sister-in-law is like you--she's always wanted to get married and have 2.5 kids. That was her goal in life. When my fiance and I were engaged first, she dated a little more. When we had our baby, she went into EVERY relationship expecting an engagement ring. She found a guy to marry her after knowing her only 2 weeks and was married in June of this year, but their marriage is already falling apart.
Live your life, don't focus on what you don't have.
