Depends on what time you woke up - what time you had breakfast, IF you had breakfast, and what you had for breakfast. If you wasted a lot of calories for breakfast on scones, white toast, jellies, donuts and all that "unfilling" junk, then it's no wonder you're hungry at 10:46am. If you havent had anythign in the morning and you had an early dinner the night before, grab a cup of hot tea. This should really help (it's what I try to do all the time!)
I'm a huge fan of breakfast. So, I usually don't get hungry at 10 am. I'm also an early bird, I wake up at 4-5am everymorning and eat then. But still, breakfast fills up if you have the right stuff!

Most weight loss diet plans encourage you to eat several small meals a day! It keeps your blood sugar stable and keeps you from getting too hungry so you don't blow your diet! So, yes, you should eat something before lunch - preferably something low in fat and sugar, but with a reasonable amount of fiber, etc. Atkins makes some bars that are good, and Advantedge is good also. If you just need sweets and sugar isn't a problem, try a granola bar, one of the small ones. Good luck!
