There are 3 ways that I eat them.

1. Eat them cold. Most frozen king crab is pre-cooked. If it is a bright red and white colored, it is pre-cooked. A lot of times, I like to just defrost them in the fridge and eat. If they are raw, they are kind of a brownish color on top and white on the bottom.

2. Steam them. This is just a method of heating them up. It really doesn't add much flavor. Personally, I think it takes flavor out of them.

3. Boil them. Old Bay Seasoning is very popular. Just put in some water with some seasoning and boil until hot (if they are raw, boil until the top of the shell becomes a bright reddish color). Personally, I think Old Bay is too powerful for King Crab. I just add a little Kosher Salt to the water and boil.

Some people like to serve King Crab with ghee (clarified, melted butter..technically, I think it comes from a buffalo or something, but the term usually refers to regular cow's milk butter in the US).

If you want to get fancy, you can add different glazes, pepper the shells, and other things. Like I said, I like the taste of King Crab, so other than a little clarified butter, I just eat it plain.

Boil a pot of water... Put them in a colander and cover with a lid. Steam them for approx 10-15 minutes... When they are hot and you can just smell them... They cook very quickly and you don't want to turn them to rubber. Boiling takes away the natural flavor.

Cook them in boiling water that has been seasoned with old bay seasoning. It usually takes them about 10 minutes to cook.

You just boil them. It takes about 20 min at the most. That sounds good! I love seafood.
