Yes and same goes for boys. Everybody feels better if complimented or thanked for something. I got a "that was really good mom" right after supper last night and yes it made me feel good. I'm more likely to do it again if showed some appreciation.
Just a simple thanks for helping,you have pretty eyes,that really looks good one you works wonders. The more you do it the more comfortable you will be doing it. Keep trying and you'll find out what works. If it makes her smile or blush it's working.

Yes they do. It's the best way. Its honest and clear too so no reason to try and see through the smoke. Straight forward is the way to go.

I'm not 100% clear what you are asking, but it sounds like you want to know if a girl enjoys being appreciated? if so...YES. it is always good to let somene know that you like them, respect them, think they are hot, whatever. as a guy, don't you like feeling appreciated by a girl? it goes both ways. and flirting is really just letting someone know you appreciate them. the right compliment, delivered the right way, can make someone's day and change the whole way they feel about you for the better!

It depends on the timing and delivery. If it looks cheap and only because of sex on the admirer`s mind, then compliments are not compliments at all but harassment...

If subtly appreciated DEFINITELY if you mean "hey babe nice rack" you need to run away really fast afterwards.
Girls love guys who are natural entertainers (but not too much) and who love to make you laugh (but never over do it).
