I have been seperated and now divorced for 18months after 8 years together, how do you go about dating again? would love to but it's very scary and to be honest my ex husband and i just kinda ended up togetherso a whole new mine field...

ok think i confused ppl there...oops. we (me and ex hubby) not back together what i meant was we never really dated so no experience of it at all.

You should flirt a bit and try and look available but not easy.
Then wait for a guy to ask you out - so really he has to worry about where to go and what to do, not you.
The more you go out the more likley you are to meet someone.
Don't have sex on the first date - a guy won't respect you for it.

In your age and experience, dates should be simpler and better...so dont get caught up on the fairy-tale like experiences you see on tv. Keep it real. If it will happen, it will be better to not expect a date to be a grand cinderella-like experience. Just get to know a person, if there is chemistry, then thats a good start. The important thing is that both of you understand each other and where you have been through.

get urself out and enjoy urself,go for drinks with ur friends,take up new hobbies u will soon make new friends and u never no there could be some1 there who floats ur boat x

just start socialising a bit more, try places you wouldnt normally go, talk to people. dont have to rush anything, take your time and enjoy yourself.
