My brother walked on his tip-toes for the better part of his childhood. What happens is that the gastrocnemius (the calf muscle) grows very quickly and the Achilles tendon (at the back of the ankle) does not have time to stretch. Over time the tendon should stretch and the child should walk like normal. If still worried, consult your peditrician and orthopedist.

ok first each and every newborn has heard of the human centipede such fairly some say that they have got watched it even as they were given freaked through the trailer. that's no longer perfect for a newborn of 10 that's an 18 for a reason. And it may influence your newborn's psychological well being state and progression more suitable than you would possibly want to imagine. i'd not propose all and sundry watch it no longer to teach a 10 twelve months previous

Toddlers walk on their toes very much but if it is a major concern see his pediatrician with your concern. If your son is twelve and does this he probably needs to see an orthopedist

Is he just learning to walk? this is pretty normal in toddlers, especially those just learning to walk. If you are really concerned though take him to your Dr and ask.

He should be properly fitted in study shoes. Carefully make sure as his foot grows that he always has a proper fit.
