I like how you think. Homosexuals are NOT pedophiles. A pedophile can be straight and usually is. Homosexuals do make good parents, because I know some. They are very loving people and do not deserve the bad wrap that they get from judgmental people.

I think some people have a problem with gay people because they don't understand them. If people took out the time to respect other people personal life styles then maybe they would further understand where gay people and people of a bisexual nature are coming from. Churches on the other had need to understand that this is a new millennium and things change. People just need to be a little more open minded and except gay, straight, or bi-sexual for who they are and not be so quick to judge someone. Were all people and as long as were not hurting anyone what should it matter if were gay or straight as long as we play our part in making society better.

(*sigh*).....I don't know why either. I am female and married. My cousin is gay. My neighbor is lesbian. I can only imagine that people who are intolerant are:
1. Afraid
2. Do not have a close family member who is gay.
3. Can't find a way to interpret their religion in a way that accepts gays. (Although we have certainly changed the bibles interpretation thousands of times over the millenia to support ever-changing cultural and philosophical trends)
Being gay is the least of our problems. I worry more about high-school students whose parents leave their loaded rifles out in the open. Can't drive on the highway anymore without getting shot at....can't get a high school education without being shot at. (*sigh*)

i am not a hypocrit I do follow the bible and offer the following verses for those who are gay. 1Corinthians 6:9-19 gives all the information needed as to what will happen to those who live that way. I do not judge them for I could never kknow if their hearts changed. Only God can do that . I offer verses and note that all have free will of choice and for all who make choices against God He gives us consequences for what we do wrong including myself, unless I repent and change what I am doing. It is just like a parent giving their child rules and consequences when the rules are broken.

The "big argument" by the religious nutballs against gays adopting kids is that "the kids will suffer growing up by having gay parents!" Of course, the fact that suffering is *caused* by hate *from* the religious nutballs isn't mentioned....
As for the "gays are pedos" myth, it's just that: a myth. Check with the American Psychiatric Association (www.apa.org); pedos are straights and usually moralizing conservatives...kinda like these US Republican party members I pointed out yesterday:

Everyone has to live their lives with the values and mores they have established for themselves. It is a sin in the bible and that is written fact. So to state it is a sin is not wrong. However having said that, I will also state that what a person chooses to do with his or her life is something they don't have to answer to me for. They will have to answer to God like the rest of us. Who will be pointing fingers and saying any sin is bigger than another at that point? Won't be me. Tolerance is key to surviving and getting along in this world.

Homosexuality is a sin, God's Word calls it an abomination.
God loves people, God hates sin.
In regards to sin, homosexuality is just as much a sin as murder, theft, lying, adultry, pedophilia, etc.
So, since the issue is sin and not people, do you have a problem with pedophiles?

I don't have a problem with gay people as long as they leave children alone, pedophiles of any sexual persuasion sicken me, I could also never condone someone trying to influence the sexuality of a child.
