I'm in highschool and I wanna know ways to increase my chances of a "yes"

You dont necessarily want to increase your chances of a 'Yes'.
You want to see if a relationship may be promising.
You can get a 'Yes' and be miserable for the rest of your life.
If there is a nice person that you enjoy, invite her out on a
noncompromising date. See if it works.
If not, you will recover. If so, then you are indeed luckly.
I know what it is like to be absolutely enamored of a person who
may not return your feelings. Even so, if you can have a friendly
relationship and it does not get into embarrasing areas of emotional or physical intimacy, then you have a friend. When
you find a true life mate and lover, you will know that as well.
Dont be like the salmon which swims upstream all its life trying to make something work that is fatal. The salmon expends all
its energy getting upstream, ejaculates, and then dies.
There is a girl out there for you. Be sure it is the right one.

Very easy,
1. Approach to a girl dirrectly.
2. Take out your loaded pistol.
3. Ask her to be your friend otherwise you will shoot yourself.
4. If she says yes, you are a lucky dued and she is head less.
5. If she says NO, commit suicide, you otherwise don,t deserve to be alive.
I think your problem is solved, now just try it.

Find something she loves to do... then use that. If she likes music, take her to a concert or show and have the band do a dedication to her asking her if she'll go out with you. Something totally unexpected will really get her!

well...assuming you like her enough to feel comfortable talking to her...you start a conversation and tell her that you really like her and enjoy spending time with her. you think she is smart and really beautiful and you want to spend like all your free time with her, and you ask her outright...you say something like, I would really like it if you would be my girlfriend and we could date exclusively and see what happens. girls liked to be asked to be your girlfriend, otherwise if you just kind of start dating, they don't know if they should tell their friends you are a boyfriend or not. you've got to be clear about your intentions. good luck!

Talk to her and hang out with her. Help her out if she drops something or needs help...and then just casually talk to her...give it a few days and then tell her how you feel.
