it is estimated by experts that the MYDOOM worm infected a quarter-million computers in a single day in January of 2004. In March of 1999, the MELISSA virus spread so rapidly that it forced Microsoft and a number of other very large companies to completely turn off their e-mail systems until the virus could be dealt with. Another example is the ILOVEYOU virus, which occurred in 2000 and had a similarly disastrous effect.

The ILOVEYOU virus was the one that put viruses on the map. It maybe wasn't the biggest but it was widely distributed, did quite a bit of damage, stole tons of information and made knowledge of viruses and paranoia of them what it is today.

properly attempt to hint who the virus is comeing from and what u wanna do is only locate the mushy were u downloaded it from and only get to the mushy were and only delete it wish it helped

I think it's probably Norton...... they give you a virus so you have to keep buying their anti-virus software..... seems to be a lucrative scam.
