Have no new species developed since? Have any species become extinct? What is the Biblical basis for your belief?

Please do not rant about "Evolution" vs. "Creation." This is not a slam on Creation or Intelligent Design. This is a serious attempt to gather information.

well in my opinion i do not find any problem with accepting both (evolution and creationism ) . i do not think that all species did exist since the beginning .

i in fact think that it would had been cruel of God not to give them the capacity to adapt therefor to evolve . i think that it is very logic to think that being an intelligent being , God did gave every specie the capacities to evolve .

i also think that many have come and leave before us and do not think that there is any biblical base to contradict what i say . there is more than one text in the bible which talks about a being call Leviathan well Leviathan does not exist anymore .

Some species are gone. There was a prehistoric king over all that was called Leviathan. He was similar to a dragon multi headed fire breathing laughing twisting sea dragon. Not a fantasy dragon but a giant reptile dragon crwature. It was a Twister and a constrictor it would be similar to crooadile and would pull it's prey underwater and twist the life out of it.

Bacteria and viruses have life (of sorts) and they keep changing. The bird flu wasn't here 100 years ago.

Edit to add;
I think there are animals on remote islands that has evolved into new spices in a relatively short time, but I'm not sure how long it took and you set the time line to 10,000 years(?) since that's when the creation happened.

Many species are extinct. There are also many new species. This process happens all the time. It's how things work on our planet. I don't know about the seriousness of this question. I guess you should have stated that you only wanted Christians to reply.
