Which one? An ugly man ( baldrick, John mcCririck racing pundit) with a brilliant personality that matches yours perfectly Or a gorgeous man ( brad pitt, jamie fox) with a vile, nasty personality but with money? And for any smart a*ses out there who are thinking of saying 'well i wouldn't go out with you, cos your ugly' to you i say GET A LIFE!!! Any men who read this...Same question but vice versa ie; Ugly woman (joe brand, Mrs Doil from father ted) etc

Hya dunc!

When a person has a nice personality & same/goals/interests etc as you, then they automatically become more attractive to you because you see the person inside (that's a fact)
And when you know someone likes you they can seem more attractive to you sometimes.
Anyone who just wants 'good looks' in another person, is lacking in depth & is not worth bothering about - don't you think?

Anyway, I bet Baldrick cleans up well (it's amazing what a bar of soap, brillo pad, visit to the dentist & a face pack can do!)
Dunno about John though.

It all depends on what criteria one uses to define ugly. I would much rather be around a man with great personality than to be around some pretty but nasty person. Money is not a criteria. Many people are beautiful inside where it counts rather than outside. Exterior beauty fades with age. Heads grow bald, stomachs hang over belts and the bad demeanor would last forever. No thanks. Besides, what you perceive as ugly I might find handsome. I would love my husband if he were 700 pounds and toothless because he has the most beautiful heart I have ever found. No matter what he looked like on the outside, inside he is the most handsome man alive. Definately I would choose the great personality.

Are you marrying or just lovers? And do you have to deal with each other much on a personal level? And who comes along first? Too many lose ends... I would say personality for a lover, looks for a husband. unless personality proposed before you meet looker. Marriage is a commitment that requires SOME money... lovers require virtually no commitment at all... Really depends on the when and how. I married personality, and money... The lookers were just no good for commitments and not really worth much more effort than to get off every once in a while.

Personally, I can't really answer that question.
I've never been out with a man that I have found 'ugly'. This is because the physically attraction usually comes from the fact that I find their personality attractive.
Going off that, I'd date the 'ugly' guy, but chances are I'd fancy him and not think of him as ugly.

Ugly man, nice personality, although I'd argue that Baldrick smells and John McC is arrogant as well as ugly, so it's a difficult choice!

In my honest opinion i want an man who has a great personality with all the trimmings but there has to be some physical attraction but seriously this is going to sound like a cliche beauty is within. If you are confident you will have that sparkle in your eyes which makes you attractive.

obviously if a guy is so excessively ugly that im repulsed to the point of nausea then it doesnt matter how good his personality is im not gonna go near him.

On the othe rhand if he is just plain average ugly then i would choose him over and arsehole stunner. In fact the guy i like right now isn't much of a pretty picture but he's personality is great and we really suit and i can see that thats whats important

Baldrick is a honey!
I'd rather live in a tent with a man that i can giggle with than live in a mansion with some twatt with a square jaw & a six pack... seriously! I may just do that.

love has a way of making an ugly man beautiful and a nasty personality will sour looks quickly. REMEMBER everyone gets old....
